Ascend™ Mastery: Core Literacy for Pre-K-5 Classrooms
Mastery is the core curriculum that anchors literacy learning from the start. Built on explicit, systematic instruction, it takes students from phonological awareness and early phonics through fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension, with a structured scope and sequence that ensures no skill is left to chance. Every lesson builds from the last. Every standard connects to the next grade level. This is the foundation that makes intervention less necessary over time.
Ascend™ Focus: Targeted Reading Intervention K-12
Focus is designed for students who need more than the core curriculum provides. It begins with diagnostic assessment, not grade placement, to identify exactly where each student’s reading development stalled and what they need to move forward. Then instruction begins at that point. Focus serves students from early elementary through high school, with instructional design appropriate for the developmental stage and reading profile of each learner.
