Is Your ELA Block Working for You or Against You?

Time:

Calendar:

Many districts have built their ELA blocks one resource at a time, adding separate programs for foundational skills, comprehension, writing, grammar, handwriting, and more. While each addition may serve an important purpose, the result can be an instructional block that is difficult for teachers to manage and disconnected for students.

In this webinar, we’ll explore what integrated literacy instruction looks like in practice and how intentionally connecting skills, texts, topics, and writing can help students build on their learning rather than continually starting over.

District and school leaders will leave with practical questions they can use to evaluate their current ELA block, identify areas of fragmentation or duplication, and find opportunities to create a more connected experience for both teachers and students.
